Vita Brevis

I used ink and a stick, and a bit of an ink wash. The image was drawn from life onto a found/collected paper background. Unfortunately i washed over the text a bit, although its possible to still make out 'Vita Brevis' (Life's Short).
I was inspired to do this because I've been looking at Jeff Gogue's work and it's amazing!
